The Challenge and Promise of Using Community Policing Strategies to Prevent Violent Extremism
This report takes a closer look at a set of promising practices which, if applied effectively, can result in increasing trust between the police and the communities they serve.
Explore research on the issue of crime and safety produced by social sector organizations that provide the public with protection and relief from crime, violence, disaster, accidents, and other potential causes of harm. Topics include strategies for working with police and other law enforcement agencies; prevention services for crime, abuse, and accidents; and safety education such as first aid training.
